The Quran, revealed in the month of Ramadan, is the best & perfect guidance for human beings. The superiority to the month of Ramadan over other months is because of the revelation of the Quran in this month. It has effective and comprehensive solutions for all types of troubles and problems which occur an individual level or state level or global level. It not only endorses to establish a righteous society full of brotherhood, trust and prosperity but also provides guidance. The month of Ramadan is full of blessings, sympathy and abundance of sustenance from Allah”. These were some significant points made by the keynote speakers of the public programs Mr. Waleed Umari and Mr. Hafiz Hafeezur Rahman on topic “THE MESSAGE OF RAMADAN” conducted by Indian Muslim Association Kuwait (IMA) Kuwait in Kuwait City and Fahaheel respectively on Thursday dated 24th of March 2022.
Hafiz Hafeezur Rahman, the keynote speaker in Fahaheel Public Program said that the main purpose of fasting in the month of Ramadan is to accomplish fear of Allah which consequently reflects in his external and internal character. He reminded that fasting trains a human being to follow the Commands of Allah. He warned that if fasting in the month of Ramadan does not bring a positive change in the attitude of a person then the fasting of a person is invaluable in the eyes of Allah.
He further emphasized that we should take full advantage of the blessed month and make a schedule to increase our relations with Allah. He further said that the month of Ramadan is the month of sympathy and charity, therefore people should practice whole heartedly to do all types of charity such as helping the needy to break their fast (IFTAR), providing all sort of assistances to the needy people etc. Fasting in fact is a way of understanding a poor’s hunger and thrust hence we feel happy to do charity services readily and passionately
Mr. Waleed Umari, a keynote speaker in a gathering held in Masjid Adasani Maliya, Kuwait City said that the month of Ramadan is the period of observance of piety, abstinence, fasting, righteousness, to be in proximity with Allah.
He further quoted some points from Hadith that Prophet Muhammad (PUBH) said “Oh people! A great month is coming to you. A blessed month. A month in which there is one night that is better than a thousand months. A month in which Allah has made it compulsory upon you to fast by day, and voluntary to pray by night. He further added that discharging an obligatory deed in this month, shall receive the reward of performing seventy obligations at any other days. Ramadan is the month of patience and the rewards. It is the month of kindness and charity. It is a month in which a believer’s sustenance is increased. Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person.
On this occasion a Prize Distribution Ceremony was held in city program by IMA Weekend Islamic School (IMA-WIS) upon the complete succession of its first academic year by giving memento to the deserving children for their outstanding performance during the year.
