| Deenyaat – Urdu Book | Towards Understanding Islam – English |
Written as a simple introduction to Islam, mainly for students and general readers. It aims to build a clear understanding of Islam as a complete way of life (Deen), not just a set of rituals.
Core Themes
-
Concept of Deen
Author explains that Islam is not merely religion in the narrow sense but a comprehensive system of life that governs personal, social, political, and economic aspects under the sovereignty of Allah. -
Beliefs (Aqeedah)
The book outlines the fundamentals of Islamic faith: belief in Allah, His angels, prophets, divine books, the Day of Judgment, and Qadr (destiny). -
Worship (‘Ibadah)
It highlights Salah, Sawm, Zakat, and Hajj — but stresses that worship is not limited to rituals; every action done with the intention of pleasing Allah is worship. -
Moral and Social Teachings
Author emphasizes honesty, justice, brotherhood, and service to humanity. He also warns against corruption, selfishness, and moral decay. -
Islamic System
The book introduces the idea that Islam provides guidance for governance, law, economics, and society — presenting it as an alternative to secular systems. -
Purpose of Human Life
According to Author, the goal of life is to live as Allah’s servant (ʿabd) and His representative (khalīfah) on earth, striving for success in both dunya (this world) and akhirah (hereafter).
